On Saturday 27 July, the Fishermen's Port of Anzio hosted the " FishArt Porto Cultura " event, an initiative that attracted over 200 participants including children, cultural and creative associations. The project, titled " FishArt. Participatory Art for the Ocean ", used old fishing nets and waste collected by fishermen in the Mediterranean Sea to raise awareness of the need to create a shared ecological consciousness for marine conservation.

On the 4th of April kids and teachers of the Sailing School organised by the Italian Naval League Anzio operatively kicked off the SeaPaCS spin-off project “L.A.D.I. and the Sea”.On the occasion of the starting of the “L.A.D.I. and the Sea”, the sport director of the Italian Naval League Anzio, Federico Fornaro, presented to participating schools the EU NEB project “FishArt. Participatory Art for the ocean at Anzio Fishermen’s Harbour” and invited kids to participate in the planned events. During the day the participatory and open education initiative envisaged from the workplan to engage and collect insights from the youngest.
