A new setup of the photographic exhibition “Esplorazioni della Plastisfera. Intrecci sottomarini di Naturacultura nel Mediterraneo” by Giuseppe Lupinacci/Raw-News is inaugurated at the historical headquarters of the Società Geografica Italiana, Palazzetto Mattei in Villa Celimontana, Rome on the 5th of November 2024. The exhibition can be visited for free until the 14th of November 2024 ( see here).
On this occasion, the SeaPaCS team is presenting its proposal for establishing a research lab on marine social geography and visual documentation, toward the realisation of the activities envisaged by the EU CS Prize program.
The inauguration ceremony is taking place on the 5th of November at 14.30 in Aula “Giuseppe Dalla Vedova” di Palazzetto Mattei in Villa Celimontana (Via della Navicella, 12 – Roma), in the presence of the photographer, with the following program:
- Welcome speech by Claudio Cerreti, Presidente della Società Geografica Italiana
- Screening of the reportage “SeaPaCS. Participatory Citizen Science against Marine Pollution” di Federico Fornaro e Giuseppe Lupinacci, Raw- News, coordinamento progetto Chiara Certoma’
