A video reportage titled “Unlocking digital urban code. Digital Social Innovation and City Spaces” has been realised by Raw-News media agency under the direction Federico Fornaro (filmed by Fornaro&Lupinacci/Raw-News) for the MUR-PRIN 2022 “Digitally-enabled Social Innovation in the City. Implications for urban spaces, societies and governance” by Chiara Certomà (PI, University of Rome Sapienza) and Venere Sanna (University of Siena) – check it out here too.
Exploring how the digital turn is having a disruptive impact on contemporary cities, but while digital capitalism is leading the neoliberal transformation of the cities worldwide, a new kind of digitally-enabled social innovation is growing from the basement of our society and expanding between the ground floors of the suburbs of our cities.
The premiere of the full version of the video report “Unlocking Digital Urban Code. Digital Social Innovation and City Spaces” is expected to be presented at the European Edition of Makers Faire in Rome October 2024.
