As part of the project “Preparing a COST Action proposal on DSI in the European cities“, funded by UniTo – MUR Grant for Internationalisation, the DIGGEO@ESOMAS lab is hosting the Partners’ Meeting on the 13 & 14 November in Turin.
The workshop is an integral part of our ongoing project, “Preparing a COST Action proposal on DSI in the European cities,” which aims to consolidate and expand a wide international network of academic and high-level research institutions. Our project situates itself in the transdisciplinary research field of the digital society, exploring the effects of DSI in urban contexts and how digital technologies can be harnessed by communities of innovators to address various social needs, particularly in cities. The workshop will delve into the multifaceted aspects of DSI, exploring its implications, methodologies, and potential in fostering innovative practices in urban settings. The result of this workshop will be used for COST Action proposal writing led by ESOMAS and it prepares the basis for an international collaboration between our department and multiple European universities whom have accepted to be a partner in this cause. The proposal is due for submission in June 2024.
